Return to Kathy's Rain Garden

Kathy Muse of Holy Cross supplied us with this updated photo of her new rain garden on Royal Street. As she explains:

"Here are some before and after photos of the rain garden. I've continued your great work by adding more native plants. The third photo was taken last Saturday morning after over 2 inches of rainfall from midnight to 6a.m. The water still formed a "lake" in front of my house during the worst of the storm BUT it drained very quickly and cleared the brick sidewalk and raised paths within an hour after the rainfall had stopped!

Thanks again for helping to keep my feet dry!"
